Toshiba Of Canada Ltd.’s office products group and Apparent Networks Inc. today announced they have signed an agreement to deliver network assessment services to users of Toshiba’s Strata CIX line of IP business communication systems via its network of 80 authorized dealers.
Apparent’s AppCritical Professional Edition 3.1 identifies and details all conditions and faults that will impact voice quality and drain resources.
Without having to install agents throughout the network, an assessment can take place in a few hours either remotely or at a customer site.
“(The agreement) provides our dealers with means to ensure successful VoIP implementations when migrating customers,” said Richard Wierzbowski, director of telecommunication operations at Toshiba.
Toshiba’s Strata CIX IP systems deliver Voice over IP, networking, mobility and support for up to 672 ports.
