Panasonic Canada Inc. and Esna Technologies Inc. announced today the signing of a technology and marketing agreement that resolves around the Telephony Office-Linx unified communications platform.
Esna’s Office-LinX allows business users to access their messages from communication devices such as office telephones, cell phones, PCs, PDAs or from any web browser regardless of the message media type.
As an example, using built-in speech recognition and text-to-speech services, LinX users can listen and reply to e-mails and voice mails and direct fax messaging.
The key part of the deal is the planned integration of the platform to Panasonic’s TDA Hybrid IP PBX phone systems using the CSTA protocol.
"The partnership allows us to openly market mobility and productivity applications directly to Panasonic’s core business segment, the small and medium-sized enterprise," said David Petramala, Esna’s vice president of business development.
