Huawei launches new ICT offerings at CeBIT 2015

Huawei today released details of a new marketing strategy at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover, Germany along with a new line of broadband and trunking equipment, a wide area network, storage system and anti-distributed denial of service (DDOS) offering.

The four were launched as part of a branding initiative it calls Innovative ICT, Building a Better Connected World.

“The four major innovative ICT technologies, which include mobile broadband, software-defined networking (SDN), cloud computing and big data, are reshaping all traditional industries,” said Ryan Ding, executive director and president of products and solutions, Huawei.

“ICT infrastructure has transformed from being an enterprise’s support system to a part of the value-adding production system. It has become a powerful engine that facilitates business transformations for enterprises across different industries.”

Announced were:

  • eLTE Broadband and Trunking, which is based on 4G technology and supports voice trunking, data and video in one network.
  • The Huawei Agile WAN 3.0
  • OceanStor 9000 storage system
  • Next Generation Anti-DDoS, which uses big data technology to build traffic models to prevent hundreds of DDoS attacks without unintentionally interrupting legitimate requests.
