Belden CDT has organized a series of free seminars across Canada that will look at emerging multi-gigabit network applications, industry standards and structured cabling products that are currently available for 10 Gigabit networks and beyond.
Topics to be covered include why a tweaked Category 5e or 6 system will not be enough, and an up close assessment of the technology, applications and standards that surround 10G Ethernet.
The Building Connections seminars take place in Montreal on Tuesday at the Delta Centre-ville hotel, Wednesday at the Delta Toronto East, Thursday at the Delta Toronto West, Nov. 1 at the Sheraton Eau Claire in Calgary and Nov. 3 at the Marriot Pinnacle in Vancouver.
According to the company, while Gigabit technologies spark virtually limitless possibilities, the choice of a structured cabling solution can be mind-boggling.
