The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) and the Ethernet Alliance are collaborating to showcase the latest in Ethernet technologies at Interop Las Vegas 2007, May 20-25 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

The UNH-IOL will provide technical management and support for five technical demonstrations highlighting Ethernet technologies that include 10GBASE-LRM, 10GBASE-T, Backplane Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (POE) plus.

Ethernet Alliance members will also demonstrate multi-vendor interoperability for 10GBASE-KR, 10GBASE-LRM, 10GBASE-T and POE plus.

“The UNH-IOL is renowned as the de facto test lab for objective Ethernet device verification and demonstration,” said Brad Booth, president of the alliance.

“The industry needs multi-vendor demonstrations of new and emerging Ethernet technologies and standards to make more informed buying and deployment decisions. We are pleased to be collaborating with the UNH-IOL at Interop Las Vegas.”

Participating Ethernet Alliance members include 3Com, ADC, AMCC, Anixter, Force10 Networks, Molex, NetEffect, Panduit, Systimax Solutions, Tehuti Networks, Teranetics, The Siemon Company and Tyco Electronics.
