Telus Corp. announced today it plans to offer its high-speed Internet customers a new service delivered through a smart antenna gateway called the Gigaset SE567 from Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices LLC.

The technology utilizes patented beam forming technology that improves Wi-Fi connectivity throughout a home.

“Among current home network users, issues related to speed and performance of their home connectivity solution emerge as the most-commoncomplaints,” said Kurt Scherf, vice president and principal analyst with Parks Associates.

“As service providers are often on the front lines of customer support for home network users, it’s critical that the wireless CPE be asrobust and capable as possible.
