The Siemon Company today introduced a 12-inch wide, expanded capacity version of its Vertical Patching Channel (VPC) rack-mounted cable management system.

The VPC-12 is a standalone manage designed for being mounted or side-stacked between adjacent racks.

Each unit has a capacity of approximately 1,400 category 5e or category 6 UTP cords in the front-access channel.

Category 6A F/UTP capacities total approximately 710 cords front and 930 rear.

The unit also supports 360 category 6A UTP cords in the front channel and 470 in the rear.

Other features include an open rear manager with rear channel retainers that are designed for easy routing of large horizontal/backbone cabling bundles.
