The Siemon Company has introduced fiber cable to its North American product line.

The cable includes 8.3 micron singlemode and 50 micron multimode fiber in XGLO(tm) 10 Gb/s capable and LightSystem configurations as well as 62.5 micron LightSystem varieties.

Available in 12 strand counts ranging from two to 12 for single-tube construction and 16 to 144 for multi-tube versions, it is offered in both riser and plenum ratings and is ISO and TIA compliant.

The new fiber cable joins Siemon’s line of fiber connectivity and cable management products.

This includes jumpers, pigtails and field installable connectors in SC, LC, ST and MT-RJ styles; fiber enclosures, fiber managers, adaptors and splicing accessories; work area outlets and termination tools.
