EXTON, PA — The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) has named the winners of its 2002 Emerging Technologies Awards, including the Polaris and Star of Integrity Awards. During a luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at SCTE’s Conference on Emerging Technologies, more than 700 professionals gathered to celebrate the achievements of the award winners. The recipients were presented with Steuben crystal awards and a contribution of $5,000 was made to the SCTE Scholarship Fund in the name of each winner.
