Rogers Wireless has announced it has entered into a shared 3.5G High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) wireless network building agreement with MTS Allstream Inc., which will provide customers of Rogers and MTS Allstream with expanded 3.5G HSPA wireless network services in Manitoba.

Rogers will also provide MTS Allstream with an “opportunity” to launch a national wireless business offering under the Allstream brand through a competitive wholesale arrangement.

Rogers Wireless has established a roaming agreement with the company under which MTS’ HSPA customers will roam exclusively on Rogers’ mobile network.
