Panduit Corp. will exhibit products that focus on physical infrastructure management and 10 Gigabit technology next week at Interop in Las Vegas.

The company said today that its Panview iQ Physical Infrastructure Management System has been selected as a 2008 Best of Interop finalist in the Network Management, Software and Services category.

The system consolidates rack hardware into panel manager and expansion modules, which snap into the back of the Panview iQ Patch Panels. On the front, a keypad interface with visual/audible feedback enables patch cord tracing and diagnostic navigation while eliminating the need for dedicated controllers.

A new software suite, Physical Infrastructure Manager, supports the system with performance functions including automated documentation of network connectivity, change notifications, asset management and reporting, virtualized mapping, and work order management functions.
