Panduit Corp. this week introduced Panduit Advisory Services, a new business unit that will offer Panduit clients lifecycle services with a focus on optimal speed, space, power, and cooling based on the Unified Physical InfrastructureSM (UPI) approach.

The company said the division addresses enterprise needs across multiple business and technology domains, including communications, computing, control, security, and power.

“The growing interdependency of systems in and between data centres, facilities, and the factory floor creates risks surrounding availability, security, and convergence,” it said in a release.

“Trends in virtualization, cloud computing, and next-generation architectures increase the demands that these systems place on the physical infrastructure.”

This alignment allows businesses to improve reliability, reduce costs, heighten agility, and support sustainability initiatives, said Paul Kopera, who will head up the business unit.
