New London, Connecticut — Structured cabling system manufacturer, Ortronics Inc., has announced the appointment of Thomas A. Goetter as president of Ortronics, effective June 17, 2002.

Ortronics current President and CEO, Howard Odom, has announced his retirement as of December 2002 and will serve as executive advisor to Ortronics and Goetter until that time.

Goetter brings over 20 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, engineering and operations to his new position. Prior to his appointment, Goetter spent 13 years with Wiremold as VP of Engineering and before that as VP of Project Sales for Walker Systems, Inc., a subsidiary company of Wiremold.

Goetter holds a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of West Virginia.
