The RIPE NCC, the Amsterdam-based not-for-profit organization that supports the infrastructure of the Internet, launched the IPv6 Act Now Web site today.

The site, www.ipv6actnow.org, shows support for the RIPE IPv6 position statement from  many technology and telecoms firms and governments.

Site content is updated regularly and includes advice and opinion, news stories and written and video content.

“The site is for everyone with an interest in the long-term growth and success of the Internet; for anyone seeking information to help guide them through the deployment of IPv6 in their network,” said Axel Pawlik, the organization’s managing director. “Multi-stakeholder cooperation is essential for the continued growth and success of the Internet.”
