Gentek Marketing Inc., a manufacturer of VoIP, network security and broadband-related products, will be showcasing the world’s first ISP VoIP Highway at the VON Canada conference in Toronto from April 19-21.

The ISP VoIP Highway is a global platform that allows Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) to exchange IP to IP VoIP calls with other ITSPs that are part of the VoIP highway.

Features include worldwide connectivity with no dependence on the PSTN network, access to the Locator Database — a centralized IP telephony directory, low cost long distance calls, call transfer, call forward and message waiting indicator.

It supports NAT transversal and any combination of SIP and MGCP end points and can support an unlimited amount of users. By adding T1 links to the local CO, ITSPs have the option of offering inexpensive flat fee local phone service.

Gentek will also be exhibiting VoIP and Network security products at the show.
