Cost, growth and process deeply impact the ability to keep the data centre running at high-levels of effectiveness, the Gartner Group says.

To that end, the Gartner Data Centre Conference, which opens tomorrow in Las Vegas, will examine servers, IT operations, storage, business continuity and disaster recovery, with extensive coverage of the latest industry hot topic — virtualization.

During the three-day event, Gartner analysts will explain how to increase agility and service quality, while reducing costs across IT operations.
