Fluke Networks has announced the dates and times of its LinkWare Live Café Event. They are as follows: Mississauga (Nov. 15), Ottawa (Nov. 17), Montreal (Nov. 22), Calgary (Dec. 6), Edmonton (Dec. 7) and Vancouver (Dec. 8). Morning sessions run from 9-11:30 a.m. and the afternoon sessions from 1:30-4 p.m.

The LinkWare Live platform, first announced in late 2014 by Fluke, is a cloud-based service that works with the firm’s Versiv testers that include DSX-5000 Cable Analyzer, OptiFiber Pro and CertiFiber Pro. It allows users to upload, manage and analyze certification test results from any location.

The service’s new device management capability allows project managers to keep track of their testers and to confirm the status of device software and calibration from a single cloud-based screen.

“Device tracking and management is a significant issue for many of our customers,” said Jason Wilbur, vice president and general manager of Fluke Networks in a release issued earlier this year. “More than half of the customers we contacted reported project delays result from tester management issues.”

Topics discussed at the information sessions will include best practices in managing multiple projects and how to minimize errors in copper and fiber testing.
