Mississauga Training Consultants is organizing this country’s first Fiber To The Home (FTTH) training program next month for anyone who currently has the Certified Fiber Optic Installer (CFOT) designation.

Bill Graham, president and founder of the training firm, notes that FTTH allows triple play and speeds that are more than 100 times faster than existing technologies and with almost unlimited bandwidth.

The program, which runs Aug. 14-15, will cover a number of topics ranging from cable assemblies and link testing to design and testing issues.

Anyone in need of a CFOT can take a special five-day course prior to next month’s program. Further information on both courses is available at 905 785-8012.
