Toronto-based Fiber Optic Systems Technology, Inc. (FOX-TEK) began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange this morning following completion of its Initial Public Offering in which 5,454,546 common shares were issued.

The company is hoping to raise gross proceeds of $3 million.

Raymond James Ltd. and First Associates Investments Inc. acted as agents in the offering.

The company is engaged in the development, design, manufacture, and sale of fibre optic sensors and related monitoring instruments.

It also provides engineering design services, training, supervision of on-site installation and turnkey fibre optic sensing systems, primarily focused on applications within the oil and gas industry.
