Wiremold/Legrand has introduced the Designer Series 4000 steel raceway that it says provides high cable capacity and bend radius control. The system contains an optional downward facing configuration for receptacles and data jacks that improve connection reliability and create more space inside the raceway to meet cable bend radius requirements.

It also conforms to UL, NEC and NEMA standards. In addition, full-capacity corner elbows, tees and entrance fittings meet the requirements for emerging 10G-over-copper as well as fiber to the desk applications.

According to the company, in conventional dual-channel raceways receptacles are directly in front of the electrical channel, while data jacks are positioned in front of the data channel.
