Thomas & Betts Corp. recently introduced the Sta-Kon Disconnect, which it says is the first tool in the industry to eliminate manual installation.

With both ends slotted to fit disconnect terminals ranging from 22 to 10 AWG, the Sta-Kon is channeled to protect wires crimped to each.

Each end of the tool includes colour-coded dots that correspond to the colour-coding of disconnect terminals: on one end, red and blue dots correspond to red and blue male and female disconnect terminals; on the other end, yellow dots correspond to yellow disconnect terminals.

Once the end of the tool is matched to the disconnect terminal, the installer only needs to push down to install the terminal.
