Systimax Solutions has introduced an enterprise wireless LAN offering called the AirSpeed, which allows organizations to deploy a wireless system at the same time they install the general LAN infrastructure.

The offering combines two enterprise-class access points (the AP542 and AP541) with Signal Enhancing Antennas (SEA) and rack-mounted Power over Ethernet (POE) devices to enable mobility, productivity and network security in the workplace.

The AP542 is a dual-band, tri-mode device that simultaneously supports 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g clients for greater deployment flexibility.

The system also comes with Signal Enhancing Antennas that are designed to provide a clear RF signal where coverage is critical especially in areas that might obstruct signal transmission.
