The Siemon Company recently introduced its new Industrial Max 6 modular outlet and patch cords, which are built for industrial applications or any facility where dust, moisture, chemicals or vibration can negatively affect network connections.

Both feature Siemon’s Cat 6 UTP RJ-45 connector encased in a protective outer housing made of heat-resistance thermoplastic. The housing contains a bayonet-style mating design that securely latches with a quick one-quarter turn.

The outlet and patch cords protect connections in laboratory environments, hospitals, food processing plants and any environment with less than ideal conditions, while providing Cat 6 E performance for Ethernet and other industrial and IP-based applications.
