The new Sensaphone 2000 remote monitoring system from Phonetics, Inc. is designed to enable telecom operators to easily monitor unattended or remote sites around-the-clock.

Companies can use the system to monitor alarms, power failures and temperatures for potential problems in such places as telecom rooms, repeater stations, switching facilities and remote transmitter sites.

In addition to security, the product allows users to receive notification of problems and solicit reports. The system distributes data reports and alarm messages via fax, email, or phone, and sends alarm messages to pagers. The Sensaphone 2000 will also collect, store and send critical data from industrial controllers, chart recorders and network servers for real-time reporting.
