The Wiremold Company, a division of Legrand North America, has introduced a new power distribution unit (PDU) for communications racks, cabinets, and enclosures.

The Power Commander vertical PDU combines 30 Amps of power with a variety of mounting options for IT applications where space is at a premium. The unit takes the place of two separate 15 Amp PDUs.

It features 24 or 36 simplex receptacles, dual circuits, and easy-access breakers. In addition, a built-in T-slot mounting rail accepts a variety of mounting accessories to meet individual space requirements.

The units are cUL listed and according to the company, are among the first in the industry to meet the new UL60950-1 First Edition and ITE standards.
