DUNGAN NEW CORPORATE VP AT DRAKA USA

Bill Dungan has been promoted to corporate vice-president of sales and marketing for Draka USA, which includes Draka Comteq USA (Helix/HiTemp Cables & Chromatic Technologies) as well as the industrial and transit markets for both BIW Cable Systems and Tamaqua Cable Products.

In this new position, he will oversee all the sales and marketing operations for copper and fiber-optic wire and cable products in markets that range from irrigation to industrial automation.

Mr. Dungan has been in the wire and cable industry since 1974 when he began his sales career with Chester Cable Company. He joined Draka USA six years ago as the vice-president and GM for Helix/HITemp Cables.

SIEMON’S MULLIN APPPOINTED TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Daniel Mullin, research and development manager at The Siemon Company, has been appointed as the U.S. Technical Advisor for the International Electrotechnical Commission SC 48B subcommittee. The group is responsible for the standardization of electric connectors, connecting devices and mechanical structures for electronic and electrical equipment.

Mr. Mullin received his BSEE degree from Western New England College in 1985 and has been involved in research, development and testing for over 17 years.
