The Remote Distribution Cabinet (RDC) from Liebert Corp. is designed to alleviate wiring congestion in data centres. Created for power-dense telecom environments, such as Web hosting and colocation facilities, the unit provides 168 circuit breaker poles in a 24 x 24-inch cabinet.

The company says the RDC, which offers four inline 42-pole panelboards with six inches of open access space per panelboard, will free up floor space and ease installation and wiring. Other features of the product include individual access panels and bottom-access conduit landing plates.

Options for the RDC include clear door insert panels, tie breakers, adjustable accent panels and an under-floor conduit box.
