Panduit Corp. has announced that its TX6 10GIG copper cabling system is compliant with the newly approved IEEE 802.3an-2006 10GBASE-T standard specified for 10GbE operation over copper twisted pair cabling up to 100 metres.

The company first received third- party certification of the TX6 by ETL SEMKO to the 802.3an draft standard in mid-2005.

The TX6 system includes jack modules, copper cable, patch cords and patch panels and Class E/Augmented Category 6 electrical performance beyond 500 MHz.
