The 9th edition of the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM), a resource for low voltage distribution design, is now available from BICSI, Tampa, FL.

Intended for use by telecom designers and IT managers, the international telecom association says the TDMM is also a valuable tool for those responsible for building design and construction, including electrical engineers, architects and facility managers.

The TDMM provides a telecom overview from design through construction, installation and maintenance. The two-volume, 1650 page manual, offers hundreds of diagrams and drawings, in addition to over 250 charts and tables with details on specifications, requirements, descriptions and procedures. It also features a glossary of definitions, abbreviations, acronyms and symbols.

The manual is available in hard copy or on CD-ROM at a price of US$179 for BICSI members and US$329 for non-members.
