Legrand/Wiremold has introduced three wireless access point (WAP) enclosures that are designed specifically for use with the Cisco 1250 Aironet wireless access point.

The secure enclosures conceal the WAP and allow for optimal Wi-Fi signal coverage to adjacent spaces while supporting industry standard POE (Power Over Ethernet). Two of these new enclosures are for drop ceiling applications, while the third is a wall-mounted unit.

Models WAPE5-1250KITD and 1250KITR are plenum rated by UL and may be used in environmental air spaces. These enclosures for active equipment meet all requirements of the TIA/EIA-569-B “Pathways and Spaces” standards.

The NME1250AP conceals wireless access points in a wall-mounted, ETL/cETL listed enclosure. Its thermoplastic construction provides protection for expensive access point hardware and fragile antennae while allowing optimum placement for maximum signal performance and supporting POE.
