Kingfisher International, a provider of fiber optic test equipment, now has Windows Vista compatible software for use by technicians when recording measurements.

The software provides real time display and acquisition of optical loss and return loss testing results, with the results loaded directly into a formatted Excel spreadsheet.

According to the company, users can perform bi-directional optical loss and return loss testing at eight seconds per fiber and record their results directly into the customer report.

The company, which is Australia’s only manufacturer of fiber optic test equipment, also announced recently that it has been endorsed to use the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Laboratory Combined MRA mark.
