Juniper Networks Inc. has released the M120, a 10 Gigabit-enabled multiservice edge router that enables traditional and mobile telecommunications providers, cable operators and large enterprises to more efficiently migrate to next-generation, converged IP business and residential services.

The platform can be used in a variety of deployments including smaller to medium-sized points of presence (POPs) and central offices; Internet and route reflector applications and backbone routing.

Features include support for up to 128 Gigabit Ethernet subscriber ports, two 10 GB uplinks, and full support for Ethernet, VPLS, MPLS, IP, Frame Relay and ATM VPNs.
