RSA Conference, an information security conference and exposition group, revealed that over 70% of European IT security professionals are more afraid of hackers than they are of their mothers-in-law. These findings are the result of a survey of registered delegates ahead of RSA Conference Europe, which took place recently in Nice. When asked about IT security priorities and fears being faced in the next six months, the survey uncovered Identity Management as the single biggest concern for organizations, with one-third of respondents listing it as their single most important priority. In addition, Web viruses pose more of a threat than email viruses. While 29% ranked e-mail viruses as their most significant threat, Web viruses were listed as the most significant threat by 68% of respondents.
