Greenlee, a Textron company, has introduced the HKL1232, a 12-tonne crimping tool equipped with a two-speed hydraulic pump and large jaw opening in order to make the insertion and removal of connectors faster, safer and easier.

The hydraulic pump advances rapidly until it contacts the connector before shifting to a lower speed to complete the crimp. When the relief valve pops open, it indicates that the crimp is complete.

Meanwhile, the “C” shaped head has a wide 1.3 inch(32 mm) opening that makes it easy to place the tool onto the connector and remove it from the connector. The head also rotates 180 degrees to get into tight places.
