Gentek Marketing Inc., a manufacturer of broadband, network security and VoIP products, recently introduced two new ADSL2/2+ modem/router models.

The Gnet BB2060 (Ethernet) and Gnet BB2062 (Ethernet/USB) are targeted at the emerging ADSL2/2+ market, while also retaining compatibility with older ADSL technology.

Features include firewalls that protect networks against IP spoofing, tear drop and denial of service attacks; and support for RIP v1 and v2 routing protocols.

The new ADSL 2/2+ technology delivers data downloading speeds of up to 24Mbps and enables the deployment of a new set of high-speed services and applications including High Definition TV (HDTV) and On Demand video services.
