FCI-Burndy, a manufacturer of connector products to the industrial, energy, application tooling and automotive industries, has introduced the Y750HS and Y644HS Hypress hydraulic hand-operated crimping tools.

They Y750HS contains a C-shaped head that rotates 355 degrees relative to the handle, providing easy tool removal from continuous conductors. Twelve tons of crimping force provides easy tapping, splicing and terminating of overhead lines and Hyground compression grounding connectors.

The dieless Y644HS eliminates the need to purchase and maintain dies. The hand-operated, 11-ton tool requires only one crimp for each wire termination for both long and standard length barrels on Hylug terminals and Hylink splices.

Both feature a pressure relief valve that indicates when the crimp is complete.
