Eaton Corp. recently introduced the Eaton BladeUPS Preassembled System, which is designed for data centre managers interested in consolidating standalone UPSs in order to ease UPS management and enhance power capacity planning.

Depending upon power requirements, Preassembled Systems can be ordered with two to six BladeUPS units installed to provide the necessary level of power protection.

All Preassembled BladeUPS systems come with UPS modules and batteries installed in a 42U enclosure, complete with communication cards and internal system wiring.

The scalable and modular BladeUPS expands power protection from 12 to 60 kilowatt (kW) (N+1) in a single 19-inch rack, while reducing energy and cooling costs with its energy-efficient UPS design. BladeUPS Preassembled Systems reduce shipping, handling and installation costs as all UPS modules are already installed in the information technology (IT) enclosure.
