Corning Cable Systems recently introduced the Wall-Mountable Interconnect Center (WIC), a housing for terminating optical fiber cables.

The WIC, a LANscape Solutions product, can be used in building entrance rooms, telecommunications rooms or inside programmable logic controller cabinets typically found in manufacturing plants. The product is available with an optional cover for jumper protection and cable strain relief kit.

The product, which accepts two or four standard Corning Cable Systems CCH connector panels or modules each accommodating either 12 or 24 fibers, features built-in splice tray mounting. Units can be mounted in stacked and/or reversed positions.

Corning’s LANscape Solution line includes optical fiber products and services.
