The Fiber Zone Box, new from Corning Cable Systems, is a multi-user telecommunications distribution facility designed for fiber-to-the-desktop or zone cabling applications.

Equipped with a seal to prevent dust and liquid penetration, the Fiber Zone Box may be mounted in a drop ceiling, under a raised floor or on a wall and is sized to fit a standard 2-ft x 2-ft drop ceiling tile opening. When installed in a 2-ft x 4-ft drop ceiling opening, a drop-ceiling tile is used to fill the unused space.

The unit has a hinged door that swings down for access to the interior and features 12 cable entry points.
