Cannon Technologies’ says its new RAFt (Raised Access Floor technology) system is designed to let network providers reduce capital costs and increase earnings per square foot.

Each element of the RAFt is a rectangular metal frame that is placed on the pedestals of a raised floor system, enabling cabling access while providing mounting base for cabinet fixing. Adjacent floor tiles do not have to be cut to allow for cabinets greater than two feet deep.

The system includes brackets that stabilize the structure and are designed to eliminate the danger of cabinets tipping over.
