The Cable Anchor tool from Greenlee, a division of Textron Inc., secures up to eight power or multiple voice, data and video cables to wood studs and plates using one nail.

Designed to save electricians and installers both time and effort, it positions all cables at least 32 millimetres from the edge of studs and plates to meet the 2005 NEC 300-4 (d) and the Canadian Electric Code Part 1, Section 12-516.

It comes in a bright yellow colour that makes it easy to see in low light conditions and is made from high impact resistant material.

According to the company, Cable Anchor’s holding fingers prevent each cable, regardless of size, from going slack during installation.
