Telephony software provider BroadSoft, Inc. of Gaithersburg, MD, has come north of the border and opened the doors to a new research and development facility near Montreal.

Located in Pointe-Claire, PQ, the centre will focus on software engineering and will be headed up by Daniel Pambianchi, who has been named Director of Software Engineering. Mr. Pambianchi has been with Nortel for 15 years, most recently in product management for the optical networking products division.

BroadSoft, Inc. is a provider of service delivery systems for telephony services. BroadWorks, the company’s flagship product, allows integrated communications providers (ICPs) to design and deploy web-enabled enhanced telephony services to their customers.
