Quebec City will play host to the upcoming Canadian Regional Conference. Here is a look at what to expect…

Brush up on your high-school French and get ready for some Canuck-style poutine — the BICSI Canadian Regional Conference in Quebec is just around the corner.

The international telecommunications association has scheduled the event from September 16-19, 2002 at the Quebec City Convention Centre in Quebec City.

The conference is designed to bring visitors up-to-date information that they can use immediately in their daily activities within the telecommunications and cabling industry. The event will feature an exhibit display and a host of conference sessions by industry professionals, including: multi-gigabit fiber system design, networking trends, wireless technology and cable testing.

The fee for the conference is $465 (US$295) for current BICSI members or $540 (US$345) for non-members who register before August 16, 2002. Members registering after August 16 will be charged $510 (US$325), and non-members will pay $590 (US$375).
