Chatsworth Products Inc. (CPI) now offers 189 BIM product model drawings developed professionally to assist customers with projects utilizing Autodesk Revit software.

BIM, short for Building Information Modeling, is an integrated process for digitally exploring a project’s key physical and functional characteristics before it is actually built.

“By utilizing three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software, productivity is increased in building design and construction,” the company said in a release issued at the BICSI Winter Conference this week in Orlando.

“BIM improves understanding, allows for predictable outcomes and facilitates a fast and economic delivery, all while minimizing environmental impact. This process provides accurate documentation, earlier decision-making and the ability to evaluate alternatives for sustainable design or improvements by utilizing analysis before the initial stages of construction.”

CPI offers BIM drawings in the following: cable runway and tray products, cable management products, rack systems, cabinet and enclosure systems and wall-mount systems.
