CAMBRIDGE, ON — COM DEV International Ltd. has announced that its operating division, COM DEV Space, has signed a $20 million long-term supply agreement with Boeing Satellite Systems, to supply waveguide switches to the company.

The three-year agreement is expected to provide COM DEV with up to $6.8 million of new business per year. An initial order of $1.2 million has also been awarded to support the engineering and initial production phase.

“Long term supply agreements with strategic customers like Boeing, are very important to improving our ability to anticipate demand, smooth our revenue stream, plan production and thereby achieve greater productivity,” says Mike Pley, president of COM DEV Space. “This agreement is particularly significant because of the size and importance of the customer.”

COM DEV Space manufactures products that are sold to satellite prime contractors for use in commercial communications and earth science satellites. For more information, visit http://www.comdev.ca.
