Cogeco Cable Inc. this week completed the acquisition of Quiettouch Inc., which was first announced on June 27.

Founded in 1984, the firm is an independent provider of outsourced managed IT and infrastructure services to mid-market and larger enterprises in Canada.

It will be integrated with Cogeco Data Services and offer network infrastructure, managed connectivity and voice services, Tier 3 and Tier 2 data centres and managed IT services.

Quiettouch offers a suite of differentiated services that allow customers to outsource their mission-critical IT infrastructure and application requirements, including managed infrastructure and hosting, virtualization, firewall services, data backup with end-to-end monitoring and reporting, and enhanced and traditional co-location services.

It operates three data centres in Toronto and Vancouver, as well as a fiber network within key business areas of downtown Toronto.
