Syracuse, N.Y.-based CXtec today launched its CABLExpress branded H-series high-density fiber data centre enclosure at the BICSI Winter Conference in Orlando.
The H10 enclosure is the first in a series and is available in both a vertical (H10V) and horizontal (H10H) mounting configuration which allows the user to choose a port orientation to mirror either Brocade or Cisco high-density director switches.
“We developed the H-series data center enclosure to address cable management issues associated with high-density fiber enclosure designs,” said Peter Belyea, vice president of the firm’s cabling/data centre division.
The design of the H-series fiber enclosure can accommodate up to 576 duplex LC ports in one H10 (10U) enclosure. The modules and adapter plates have interoperability between the H10 enclosure (10U) and H6 enclosure (6U) for added convenience.
