Bell Canada has been named a leader in the Forrester Wave: Domestic North American Managed MPLS Services, Q4 2008 report.

Conducting their analysis in August 2008, the report’s authors based their findings on vendor surveys and vendor interviews. Customer referencecalls were also made to validate qualifications.

The report also notes that given its cost advantages and similar performance levels compared to legacy services, managed MPLS is experiencing robust growth.

“Since our study of the North American MPLS market in 2006, adoption has surged,” the report said. “Overall today, 71% of North American firms with 1,000 or more employees have already adopted or are evaluating MPLS technologies for their corporate WAN.”
