Avaya launches its ‘collaborative’ cloud strategy

Avaya this week launched the Collaborative Cloud, which it describes as a strategic framework for delivering communications and collaboration applications and services to businesses through public, private and hybrid cloud models.

Avaya this week launched the Collaborative Cloud, which it describes as a strategic framework for delivering communications and collaboration applications and services to businesses through public, private and hybrid cloud models.

The company also announced the AvayaLive suite of public-cloud delivered offering sthat include the new AvayaLive Connect and an upgrade to AvayaLive Engage.

AvayaLive Connect is a unified communications package for small businesses that includes voice, voice conferencing, messaging, video, mobility connections.

Formerly known as web.alive, Engage enables participants to use personalized avatars in a 3D environment to engage in collaboration activities such as meetings and creative sessions, sales and customer service, HR training and recruiting.

Meanwhile, Avaya Virtual Enterprise Network Architecture (VENA) and Avaya Aura are designed for enterprise-grade private or hybrid clouds, businesses and cloud service providers.
