ADC Telecommunications Inc. will debut its new All-IP Radio Access Network (RAN) wireless portfolio at CTIA Wireless 2007 in Orlando, Fla. March 27-29.

A key component is the FlexWave Base Station System (BSS), which ADC says allows wireless operators to meet the growing coverage and capacity demands of advanced wireless services, while at the same time contain costs through an IP backhaul.

According to the company, by deploying the FlexWave BSS over an IP network, wireless operators may realize OPEX savings and also protect their investment as the network evolves to a complete end-to-end IP architecture.

“Wireless operators are under great pressure to find a means to provide the mobility and bandwidth capabilities their customers need,” said Hilton Nicholson, president of the Active Infrastructure Business unit at ADC.
